Within the timeline of project activities TIB (TV Biguaçu Integration) that integrates Integration Communities Petrobras, last weekend was devoted to the making and video recordings of workshops held in the Native Landscape Nursery School, based Environmental Consultant Social Institute (ICS), located in Areias de Cima.

The TIB project, a joint initiative of the ICS and is promoting workshops APIVALE qualification manpower site that will be presented as tele-courses in local communities.
The first is the Native Landscaping Workshop whose goal is the production of demonstration gardens (for small spaces 3mX3m the 6mX6m) that can be implemented in homes, buildings and / or condominiums, schools or community living areas. This is an activity that generates direct income for youth and women trained in the project.

The innovation of the Garden is that it introduces Native plants native to the Atlantic Forest to replace the exotic species (coming up in other countries) and contribute little to the local ecosystem.
When planting a native tree we are ensuring environmental balance.

Project TIB developed nine models of Native Demonstration Gardens, which had the supervision of environmental experts.
In the workshop recorded in the Nursery School were executed three models: Bee with bloom that serves as food for bees, the spring that has the appeal of purple flowers and Ipe quaresmeira and Native, which used a local species in danger of extinction, the jelly palm beach (scientific name Syagrus eriospatha).

This initial activity was performed with the direct supervision of the technicians in landscaping the ICS. Now the next step the students will produce their own community in native gardens, which will be evaluated by the facilitators. In the final step of this workshop will be a visitation and a collective analysis of the work. Students received a handout for guidance, whose first step is the preparation of the sketch (design) of the garden to run.

In parallel, the Project TIB - TV Biguaçu Integration, under the management of the NGO Consultant Social Institute is conducting research with communities of demands for a professional qualification, since the local labor market tends to grow rapidly.
